The origami crane is a symbol for peace, love and happiness. All beautiful traits that were ever-present at this beautiful Tierra Retreat Center wedding. Family, especially Emily and Eli’s grandmothers, and friends worked to make the 1000 paper cranes that would become the backdrop for their wedding ceremony. This symbol for peace, love, and happiness was made (quite literally) present by the people closest to them. Along with this, a sense of peace among the guests; the love between Emily and Eli; and, an overarching feeling of happiness prevailed throughout the wedding weekend. I was completely honored to be present to witness all of this. Thank you. Thank you!
