{Bumfields Party Rental & Supply} A Business Profile

While I haven’t spent much time face-to-face with Cindy Fields and her husband, Jason Bumgardner, of Bumfields Party Rental & Supply, I get a sense that they are the kind of people you want to have in your life. Right away, Cindy was so willing to help with the “Your Wedding Day Soiree” event. Every interaction I’ve had since then has been professional, prompt and caring! Oh, and when I finally met the two in person, their daughter, Paige, was with them. I asked if she’d like to model with the bride and groom and she jumped right in to help, just like her parents!

Here’s a little bit more about Bumfields Party Rentals:

Established in Cashmere in May 2010 by husband and wife team Jason Bumgardner and Cindy Fields, Bumfields Party Rental & Supply is quickly earning a reputation in North Central Washington for quality equipment and professional, reliable service at a neighbor-friendly price. Bumfields provides tables, chairs, linens, dinnerware, glassware, flatware, and an array of self-catering supplies. They can accommodate events for up to 400 guests.

Jason and Cindy fell in love with the area on a visit in 2007 and decided to relocate from Tucson with their now eight-year-old daughter Paige.  They purchased a 1904 Victorian farmhouse in Cashmere on the edge of a pear orchard with breathtaking views of Mt. Cashmere and the Cascades. Jason works as an A&P mechanic at Executive Flight in East Wenatchee and Cindy has served as Executive Director of the Lake Chelan Wine Growers Association, and as Project Manager at a local consulting firm since moving to Cashmere. She recently resigned in order to manage their business full time.

“I have over 20 years experience with special event planning including corporate meetings, trade shows, and conventions,” says Cindy.  “We recognized pretty quickly a need for more event rental services and options in the valley, and the business plan just grew from there. Since we started, we’ve had to steadily increase our inventory to meet demand. It has been very encouraging.”

With nearly 40 events already booked for summer 2011, their new business appears to be thriving.  Bumfields provided tables, chairs and dinnerware for the “Your Wedding Day Soiree” event on May 1 at the Ivy Wild Inn.

“It was a great opportunity to collaborate with a lot of talented wedding service providers in the area,” said Cindy. “They did an amazing job with the food, flowers, decor – everything was just fabulous.” Bumfields will soon be featuring photos by Kathryn Stevens on their website.

And here is a sampling of their beautiful wares…
